Create your shop and start the trial

Sign up in a few minutes, start the 30-day free trial with no card, and set the shop up step by step.

Creating a shop is a single form. You do not pick a plan and you do not give a card. When it is done, a wizard walks you through getting the shop ready for your customers.

Sign up the shop

  1. Open the cataloop sign-up page and fill in, in this order, Email, Shop name, Shop address and Password.
  2. While you type the address it tells you whether it is Available or Already taken. Only letters, numbers and hyphens are allowed, and some addresses are reserved: then you will see This address is reserved.
  3. Tick the two required boxes: that you are signing up as a business or professional, and that you accept the Terms and the data processing agreement.
  4. Press Start free trial. Your shop is created at once and you land in the admin.
  5. You will get an email to confirm your address. Meanwhile you can set the shop up, but your customers cannot open it until you confirm.

Set up your shop

Right after sign-up the Set up your shop wizard opens. Each step is saved as you move on.

  1. Name: the name at the top of your catalogue and on every order. The address is already chosen and cannot be changed here.
  2. Tax: choose Spain (IVA) or No tax. If it applies to you, turn on Apply recargo de equivalencia. Also pick the Currency. You fine-tune the rates later in Settings.
  3. Products: with Import a file you upload your spreadsheet, or with Add by hand you type a few to get started. See preparing your Excel file and adding products.
  4. Look: a logo and an Accent colour. Both are optional and you can press Skip this step.
  5. Access: choose Public or Private, with an access code. A public shop asks you to fill in the Seller details. More in Sharing links with customers.
  6. Done: you see the customer link with Copy link and Send on WhatsApp. With Send yourself a test order you check the whole journey, and Go to the back office leaves the wizard.

If you are short of time, press Finish later. In the admin you will see the banner Finish setting up your shop with a Continue setup button to pick up where you left off. On the last step, if you have not confirmed your email yet, it says Confirm your email so your customers can open the shop.

The trial and the plans

  • The trial lasts 30 days, is free and asks for no card.
  • Prices exclude IVA (Spanish VAT), which is added at checkout.
  • When it ends and you have not chosen a plan, the shop becomes read only: your customers can no longer place orders. If another 90 days pass with no plan, the shop is deleted, and we warn you 7 days before.
  • Esencial covers up to 500 products: 35 € a month or 350 € a year. Profesional covers 501 to 5,000 products: 59 € a month or 590 € a year. Grande covers more than 5,000 products: 99 € a month or 990 € a year, with a one-off set-up within 5 business days and priority support.
  • The rest is in Billing, trial and payments.

The Settings tabs

  • General: the shop, contact, who can see the catalogue, prices and stock, the logo and the seller details, each in its own card.
  • Users, Export and Billing: the people with access, downloading your data and the subscription.

Changes in the cards are not saved on their own. The save bar says You have unsaved changes while something is pending and Settings saved when it is done. Tax is saved separately, with Save tax settings.

Writing to the team

The Write to us button in the top bar opens a chat with the cataloop team. When someone replies, it also reaches you by email and you will see You have a new reply. The chat is not available inside a support session.
