Export your data and close the account

Download your products, customers and orders as CSV, and understand what happens to your data if you cancel or the trial ends with no plan.

You can take your data whenever you like. It is three CSV files, one per table, in UTF-8 so Excel opens accented letters correctly. Only the shop owner sees the Export tab of Settings.

Download the files

  1. Open Settings and go to Export.
  2. Press Products (CSV) to get products.csv, with the columns sku, name, category, price_ex_tax, tax_rate, stock, active and image_key.
  3. For Customers (CSV) (customers.csv, with name, company, discount_percent, tax_rate, surcharge, locale, the tax number, the fiscal and delivery addresses, the notes, origin and dates), first tick Include contact numbers and press Apply if you want email and whatsapp columns. The customer link column comes only when you ask for it. Then press the customers button.
  4. Press Orders (CSV) to get orders.csv, with one row per order line: number, status, date, customer, currency, product, requested and confirmed quantities, price and totals.

Good to know

  • Column names are always in English, even with the admin in Spanish. That way the products and customers files can be imported again (import products, customers).
  • The customer link comes in the customers file only when you tick Include personal links. A personal link opens the catalogue at that customer's prices, so keep the file private.
  • You can export while the shop is open, read-only or closing. If the shop is suspended for a failed payment, the admin is closed and you cannot export, so do it earlier.

Close the account

There is no screen to close the account. Closing it means cancelling the subscription: open Settings, go to Billing, press Manage billing and cancel in the Stripe portal. The timings are in Billing, trial and failed payments.

  • Once the subscription is cancelled, the shop keeps taking orders until the end of the period you already paid. Then it closes and your data is kept for about 90 days. When that period ends, the shop is deleted.
  • If the 30-day trial ends and you do not choose a plan, the shop becomes read-only and is deleted 90 days later.
  • In both cases we email you at least 7 days before the date, with the link to export your data. Once deleted, nothing of the shop is kept.
  • If you choose a plan before that date, the deletion is cancelled.
  • A shop suspended for a failed payment shows on screen the date after which it will be deleted.
